At VanHack, we believe in fostering an inclusive and diverse community where individuals feel welcome, celebrated, and empowered. Today, we proudly raise the Pride Flag across our social channels to show our support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

In this blog post, we want to emphasize our deep commitment to creating an environment where everyone feels they truly belong and acknowledge the significance of this symbol and what it represents: love, acceptance, equality, and the celebration of diverse identities.

Raising the Flag, Celebrating Progress and Diversity

The Flag we are proudly raising this month across our channels is the #ProgressPrideFlag. This inclusive design acknowledges the invaluable contributions of Black people, Indigenous people, and other people of color to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, as represented by the black and brown stripes. Additionally, the Flag includes transgender and intersex individuals, symbolized by the white, pink, and blue stripes, along with purple and yellow.

This symbol serves as a representation of our commitment to building an inclusive and supportive community at VanHack. Let us embrace its colors and meanings to advocate diversity, support one another, promote equality, and work together to create a place where all individuals can thrive.
