Our hero Vladimir is now working as a product designer in Vancouver, Canada. He first got shortlisted for the position on October 21st, 2021. After a round of interviews he was offered the job 38 days later, on November 29th! How amazing is that?

The Secret For Being a Product Manager Hired in Canada

Although it all felt like \”meant to be\” for Vladimir, what really is the \”secret\” for his success is hard work and preparation. Getting the job after 38 days meant weeks of mock interviews and consultations with the VanHack team. Our product manager went through three rounds of hiring process with the company and three interviews, one with the hiring manager and two others with the project\’s team. In between each of the conversations he had with the company, Vladimir kept in touch and prepared with VanHack consultants.

How VanHack Helped Vladimir Relocate to Canada

Moving to a different country can be a daunting undertaking. It helps when a team of experienced consultants have your back throughout the whole process. Vladimir started working for his Canadian employer remotely 13 days after getting the job offer. But relocation was always the plan.

As it turned out, the move also happened very fast. The company applied for LMIA on January 24th and after its approval, Vladimir started working on his documents with VanHack. Then, in September he was on a plane to Canada!
